Blended Courses

Blended courses combine online learning, which can be completed at a time, place and pace that is convenient for the learner prior to then completing the course in the classroom.  The advantage of these flexible options is that it reduces the time needed in the classroom and so away from the workplace.

First Aid at Work (FAW)

In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses.

Completing the online element prior to spending just 12-hours (2 days) in the classroom reduces training and travel costs as well as time out of the workplace.

This blended FAW course meets all of the requirements under the HSE and Awarding Organisations and is available as a ProTrainings or Regulated Qualification (QCF).

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
Paediatric Blended First Aid Course, Level 3.

The Paediatric blended first aid course is an alternative to spending two days in the classroom.

The first part is completed online at a time, place and pace that suits the learner.  Part 2 is then completed in the classroom.

This course is fully compliant with the requirements of Ofsted, EYFS, CSSIW and Surestart as well as the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per HSE requirements so meets the requirements for Nannies, Au Pairs & Childminders.

Price: £95 per person.

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification can now be completed as a blended course, with 3 hours of online training followed by 3 hours in the classroom.

This blended EFAW course meets all of the requirements under the HSE and Awarding Organisations and is available as a ProTrainings or Regulated Qualification.

To renew you need to attend another EFAW 6 hour course. This course must be delivered as a 100% classroom course and cannot be delivered via online or blended training to comply with the HSE requirements.
